Snoop Dogg showing up for NHL 20 may be a bit surprising, considering he ended 2017 by deciding to put EA Sports on blast in a rather hilarious Instagram rant. Snoop also does his famous dance from the “Drop it Like it’s Hot” music video, which is really about all anyone can ask for. He’ll be both skating into the ring as a playable hockey player that you can put on your team, and stepping into the announcer’s booth to narrate the action other players are taking. Snoop Dogg has been added to the game as free DLC “like for real though,” to quote the trailer. Yet there he is, doing what he does best in the world of hockey and playing up how goofy he is. I did not, however, expect him to show up in NHL 20. I also love that he basically knows he’s a goofball and plays that up. Players can enjoy fast-paced hockey matches despite the game needing much refinement of its features.I absolutely love Snoop Dogg (or Snoop Lion if he’s doing his reggae stuff again. It elevates the casual hockey matches to international professional competition. The character customization mode lets players fulfill their dream of building the best hockey MVP. NHL 20 Beta is a nice starting ground for players to practice hockey. They can expect the best players around the world in the playoff tournament.

The Pro-Am competition hosts the best players of the past and present. However, they have to create an account for the EA Sports Hockey League Clubs or EASHL Clubs to take part in the competition. Participants battle for a winner-take-all competition to reach the goal of becoming the best among the rest. The game also offers the Eliminator Mode, which has a very competitive environment.
Players can build the greatest custom character they wish to own for competing online. NHL 20 Beta has more than 900 classes, pieces of gear, specialties, and traits for unlocking. Players can use their newly created character across all game modes. It unifies the customization process and character progression. Just like NHL 19, NHL 20 Beta also comes with the World of CHEL mode, which is a streamlined character creation mode.
